The Abu Gosh Vocal Music
Festival
vol. 2
Have you ever heard of Esteban Salas?
No? Hardly surprising, especially if we take into account that this is
a Mass that was discovered not long ago and has few recordings of it.
However, don’t be fooled by its obscureness, it is one of the most
beautiful Masses ever written and Michael Shani certainly has taken it
to new heights of performance. This disc also features Mozart’s famous
and equally beautiful Vesperae Solennes De Confessore is a delight to
hear and immerse in. Enjoy over a good wine.
